  • Submit your concept via the form HERE. If you have a pitch deck to share, share the link in the submission form so that we can download it separately. Note that the pitch deck is optional.

  • All Singapore Citizens and Singapore Permanent Residents aged 18 to 34 years (as of the closing date of submission, 9th June 2024) are eligible. If you are a Singapore Citizen or Singapore Permanent Resident currently overseas but wish to submit a story to be made and filmed in Singapore in July – August 2024, you are welcome to participate.

  • If your concept is selected, you must assemble a key crew/team of at least two people (e.g., Director and Producer) within 7 working days from your official acceptance into the programme.

  • Your short film should not exceed 10 minutes.

  • Multiple submissions of different ideas are permitted and encouraged.

  • You are encouraged to submit multiple entries. Multiple submissions of different ideas are permitted and encouraged.

  • Yes, you can, provided it is not a completed work (film already produced) and you still hold the rights to the concept.

  • No live pitching is required. If your concept is shortlisted, our team will contact you via email, and you may be invited to discuss your concept further.

  • Including a CTA that emphasises a key message is beneficial, but no specific CTA is required as long as your submission is aligned with the themes.

  • You have the freedom to allocate the budget for developing and producing your story. If you exceed the provided budget, you will be responsible for covering the additional costs.

  • Your film might be showcased on the READY FOR ACTION website and social media channels, promoted via Ministry of Home Affairs, SGSecure, Viddsee, and other potential partners' platforms and channels, as well as through out-of-home displays and other offline screenings. You may also submit your completed work to film festivals, but you must notify the Organisers and acknowledge SGSecure's support in the production.
